Who We Are

Since 2007, Happy at Home Support Services Inc. has been providing trusted, RN-managed home care across Orillia, Barrie, Muskoka, and North Simcoe. Unlike many franchise agencies, we are a locally owned company with an open-door office where families can meet us face-to-face.

We are proud to serve as a non-volume Service Provider for Ontario Health at Home in the Orillia–Couchiching Region since early 2021. This means we are qualified to deliver Personal Support Worker (PSW) services under the direction of Ontario Health at Home coordinators — giving families peace of mind that our team is both highly trained and trusted within the publicly funded system.

We are also currently completing Accreditation with Accreditation Canada, with our survey scheduled for January 2026. This national accreditation reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in every aspect of care.

Our Values

Our Story

Founder and CEO Sheona Kloostra, RN, spent many years in the emergency department, where she saw families struggle when a loved one suddenly needed care. In 2007, while raising two young children and caring for her aging parent, Sheona recognized the need for a nurse-managed home care agency in her community. With just six caregivers, a laptop, and a phone, Happy at Home was born.

Today, our growing team continues her mission: to help families through life’s most challenging moments — whether after a fall, a new diagnosis, or during end-of-life care.

Our Mission

  • To help people remain safely and comfortably at home.
  • To provide responsive, reliable, and ethical home care services.
