Getting Started
Do you do a free assessment?
Yes. A Registered Nurse (RN) completes a no-obligation assessment and safety review, and coordinates with hospital/physician/therapists as needed.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. We use a flexible Service Agreement. You can end services with notice (see Cancellations & Schedule Changes below).
How quickly can service start?
Often within 24–48 hours after the RN assessment; same-day support is sometimes possible for urgent situations.
Can you coordinate with publicly funded home care (Ontario Health at Home)?
Yes. We regularly align schedules with Ontario Health at Home hours and collaborate with their care coordinators.
Scheduling & Cancellations
Is there a minimum visit length?
NO. 1 hour per visits are the norm, but respite can be arranged too
Can I change the schedule after we start?
Absolutely, your schedule is flexible. Call or email us and we’ll adjust with 72 hours notice
What is your cancellation policy?
- Visit cancellations/changes: Please give 72 hours’ notice to avoid charges.
- Ending services: You may end the Service Agreement with 24 hours’ notice.
Do you provide 24/7 care?

Care & Saftey
Can caregivers help with medications?
We provide medication reminders and assistance as per the plan of care and document. This is a delegated act. We do not dispense medications into Dosettes, we strongly encourage blister paks from pharmacy.
Can caregivers help with bathing and personal care?
Yes, bathing/showering, stability support, drying, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and more. [Learn more → Personal Support Care]
Do you offer nursing?

Do you provide in-home foot care?
Yes—nail care, callus care, diabetic foot monitoring in your home. [Learn more → Foot Care (In-Home)]
Do you provide transportation (including ODSP)?
Yes—safe, door-to-door rides for appointments, errands, and social outings. We support ODSP, Community of Social Services and Children’s Aid Society, Veterans Affiaris clients. [Learn more → Transportation]
Do you offer housekeeping?

Where We Provide Care
Do you support clients in hospitals, retirement homes, or long-term care?
Yes—we provide one-to-one, client-focused support in hospitals, retirement residences, and LTC homes.
Note: We are not a staffing agency for facilities; we serve individual clients only.
Care & Team Quality
Who supervises care?
Every client is RN case-managed at no extra cost. An RN is on call 24/7 for urgent matters.
Who are your caregivers?
Experienced, compassionate PSWs and nurses, with additional allied health backgrounds.
How are caregivers hired and vetted?
In-person interviews, reference checks, vulnerable-sector police checks, credential verification, and orientation/training.
Are your staff bonded and insured?
Yes—liability insurance, bonding, and WSIB coverage.
Communication & Records
Safe digital documentation complying with Cyber security standards for Ontario Health at Home are used and available upon request by POA via email.
Pricing & Billing
What are your rates?
Rates are competitive and depend on service type, qualifications, and schedule. Evening/weekend rates are the same. Night shift for palliation incurs a small fee for service as this service is in high demand Call 705-326-9355 and ask for the RN for current rates. Every case is unique.
How and when do you bill?
We invoice monthly ( last day). Payment is due upon receipt. Please do not pay caregivers directly—we handle payroll, taxes, insurance, and administration. Note: 24 hour cases may require credit card security.

How many hours do people usually need?
It varies—some clients need 2–3 hours a few times a week, others need 24/7. After the RN assessment (health, safety, mobility, medications, supports, and goals), our Registered Nurses recommend a right-sized plan and adjust up or down as needs change. Nurses have skill sets that many other franchise companies simply don’t possess.
